GOSAT-GW/AMSR3 Products Now Available

JAXA released the products of Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 3 (AMSR3) onboard the Greenhouse gases Observing SATellite - Global Water cycle (GOSAT-GW, “IBUKI-GW”) on June 30, 2026.
The following AMSR3 products are available via G-Portal:
GOSAT-GW was launched from the Tanegashima Space Center on June 29, 2025 (JST). Initial function verification and initial calibration and validation of the satellite and AMSR3 have been completed, and the satellite is currently in nominal observation operation.
AMSR3 started observations on August 11, 2025. JAXA plans to provide products for the entire past observation period by July 15, 2026.
