Notice of urgent release of observation data for Myanmar earthquake occurred on March 28

We have urgently released observation data (L1.1) on March 30th and April 3rd to support disaster monitoring and research for Myanmar earthquake occurred on March 28th, 2025.
A large earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar (Myanmar) at around 12:50 p.m. on March 28 (3:20 p.m. Japan time) near Mandalay in the central region, causing extensive damage in Myanmar and neighboring Thailand.
In response to requests from Sentinel Asia and the International Charter of Disasters, JAXA deployed ALOS-2 (Daichi-2) observations satellite on March 30 and April 3, 2025 and provided the data to relevant organizations. Prior to the regular release of the ALOS-2 ScanSAR L1.1 data open and free data, those post disaster and pre-disaster data are available through JAXA Earth Observation Data Portal (G-Portal).
